Curly Hair Donation
Curly Hair Donation. Make sure you follow all guidelines set forth by the organization you have chosen. Hair cannot be permed, color-treated, or highlighted.
It is about bringing an awareness of the ethnic inequalities of African American females wearing their natural curly hair.
This helps keep the hair intact and safe.
When mailing the donation, make sure you place hair in a Ziploc bag inside of an envelope instead of simply putting hair in the envelope. Dreadlocks, wigs, hairpieces, hair extensions and synthetic hair can not be donated. To see if your hair is long enough for donation, pull your hair back in a ponytail and measure from just above your ponytail holder to the tip of the ends of your hair.
