Hair Fall After Pregnancy
Hair Fall After Pregnancy. After pregnancy, once your hormones go back to normal, there's a drop in estrogen. If you have postpartum hair loss, or hair loss after pregnancy, you'll notice a sudden shedding — sometimes in clumps — in the six months after you give birth.
Changes related to your hormone levels before, during and after pregnancy can affect hair growth.
Now that you are a mother and want to retain your hair, you have to eat all kinds of foods (eggs, nuts, flax seeds, and beans) beneficial for your hair and scalp to promote hair growth.
After childbirth estrogen levels in the body drop back down and lead to a heavy hair loss in a short period of time. Like almost everything else right now, you can thank your hormones. The hair may have a different texture than the hair that fell out.
