Wizard of Oz inspired nail art! I'm sure you're all familiar, but I'm gonna go ahead and explain it anyway. the blue gingham was inspired by her dress, and the red glitter nails were inspired by the all-important ruby slippers. This nail art is inspired by the idea of magical circus tents (I was thinking of the book The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, which I read over the summer.)When I finished, though, the purply mist and inviting stripes made me think of all the "Arabian Nights" clichés from the Disney Aladdin movies - specifically, a flowing-haired princess in puffy pants.
